Dr. Shawn Parker


Shawn Parker, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified and fellowship trained corneal and refractive surgeon. Fellowship medical training involves completing an additional year of intense study and clinical practicum in one's chosen field of expertise.


After his medical training and residency at the University of Louisville, where he served as chief resident of ophthalmology, he pursued his fellowship training at Corneal Consultants of Indiana. Dr. Parker has coauthored medical journal articles about vision correction and corneal surgical procedures. He has served as an instructor at national ophthalmology meetings and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
